No two JJ Garden Designs projects will be the same but here are the answers to some frequently asked questions. This can vary considerably. An 'On-site Consultation Design' for a small garden will be completed, on-site, in just three hours, leaving you with a scaled, sketch design.

When to Plan Report

But - there's always a 'but' - when it comes to planting your garden we prefer not to fight Mother Nature. Between the end of May and end of September our climate is generally too warm and dry for plants to get off to a good start. Therefore, once we have completed the Construction of your garden, we may advise you to defer planting until the weather is cooler and wetter in order to give your plants the best start in life.

Small gardens - perhaps our favourite? Maybe it's the challenge of producing a scheme that works aesthetically, practically and all year round within a limited space. Creating a small garden that still looks fresh on a winter's day is no mean feat. It requires a solid knowledge of design, plants and materials alike to achieve the right result.

We employed James at JJ Designs to design our garden in Ipswich. Now the garden is designed and built we are extremely pleased with the result and can't wait for the new growing season.
