To make sure you get the right motor to power your gate/s its essential to know specific information about the gates and the envirnoment they're in. Motors are designed to operate certain gate formats incorparating factors such as pillar/post dimensions, weight, size, opening angle, power output and daily use.

Please select what type of automation you require for your gate/s. Double & Single Swing refer to motors which attach to the gate and pillar of a swing motion gate. Double & Single Underground refer to motors which lay beneath the ground which attach to the hinge end of swing motion gates. Choose Sliding if you require lateral moving gate automation and Wheeled if you require a motor which utilises a wheeled motor to drive your gate/s.

Do not use this company. Purchased gate motors and additional fobs (their suggested model). Fobs incompatible (4 purchased) these were purchased this summer and months and months later and multiple emails they still have not collected them, and say they can’t refund until their courier has collected them! They are now closed for Xmas! They are also a company called Vent… beware their customer services representatives Hannah and Greta are professional Liars!

Extremely bad aftercare service. Make sure you know exactly what you're buying from this company, do your research, ask a lot of questions, repeat them again then repeat back the answers and get things in writing. I’ve bought the same motor a few times before, from here, for both my gates and they usually only last about five years. As usual I provided the details of the existing inground gate motor which needed replacing. I was expecting an exact replacement but the shark motor they sent me was a model with a new shape at the base and it wouldn't fit the existing bolts. I called up and was told

Purchased a gate opener and mag lock from Gate motors , I received poor after service when the mag lock failed to work correctly (at all) . I returned the unit after much protest from said gate motors , only to be told they tested it but as the terminals were not stripped it clearly had not been tested .
