Services
We are ARC Ground Care Ltd. We've been established for over 10 years and we are proud of the work we've completed, the experience we've gained and the reputation we've built. We enjoy working with clients from a variety of backgrounds on many projects and these include commercial, private and construction contracts.
We follow the Sport England guidelines that flat greens require a completely level and smooth subsoil surface with a tolerance of +/- 15 mm. Once allowance has been made for the material layers the surface of the green should be a minimum of 230 mm lower than the surrounds. Crown greens require subsoil levels that allow for a crown formation between 254 and 380 mm above the corners.
Our experience in constructing single cricket wickets up to and including complete cricket grounds is comprehensive. This includes drainage and laser grading. We are happy to advise on the best approach for your particular needs and with our specialist equipment we ensure the job is completed to the highest possible standard.
The specification will vary dependent on you as a client, you may be a local club with limited funds or an academy looking to install five pitches. We have experience of all types of project and will work with you to achieve a solution that best meets your timescale and budget. There will always be specific issues on a site, whether it be lack of drainage, undulating levels or complex soil structure.
Sports pitch construction contracts cover a variety of specifications. These can range from a single cricket wicket or football pitch up to multiple pitch training grounds, a new school or local authority facilities. We have completed sports pitch construction work for local authorities, academies and local and professional sports clubs.
