Nicholas and his team carried out damp work on our home and we highly recommend the London Damp Co. The quality of work was at a very high standard and the plaster finish afterwards was exemplary. Nicholas was also kind enough to fix a couple of plumbing problems as well, which were tricky. Again this work was excellent. A few months later, we can confirm that the damp problems remain completely sorted. The cost of everything was extremely competitive too. We have no hesitation in rating Nicholas as five stars. Was advised to send pictures etc by email and a surveyor would do a report or decide IF they needed to come out. Although their web site said you hear from them in 48 hours. They did not respond or even update me. I then chased them 5 days later to be told I'd have it the next day. Then chased again as it was the first time they had even confirmed receiving my information only to be told they do not cover the area due to covid. So I wasted 6 days that I could of had another contractor appointed. Unprofessional is an understatement.

Under NO circumstances should you use this company. Incorrectly tanked my bedroom in 2016 and didn't even complete the job. No response to any of my emails or phone calls and the insurance 'guarantee' they provided was not worth the paper it is written on. Company owner largely stoned and incoherent when on site. Now having to get their shoddy work ripped out at great cost and redone by a reputable company. See attached photo. AVOID.

Do NOT use this company. I'm sorry that I did. They did a poor job last October. Damp had already returned by December. To be fair they supposedly came to fix that in December but the damp returned there and in many other places by early May. It took them over a month to come and inspect the property (including one morning where they didn't turn up at all). The person who finally came said the original workman had been fired. He agreed the job had not been completed properly (chunks of wall under the stairs had not even been touched!). And he agreed the work that had been had not been done well

I booked an appointment yesterday for an assessment. Was given a slot from 1-5. As I was working my wife had to stay home. I was told to expect a call 30 mins before they arrived. My wife called me at 4:15pm to tell me that nobody had arrived. I then called the office to try and work out when the assessor might arrive. I was put on hold and told that the office had tried to reach him and had left a message. After 5pm (which meant my wife had wasted 4 hours of her time), I called again to be told that the assessor still hadn’t called back. It’s 4:30pm Saturday and we’re still waiting for a

Did an excellent job of repairing and damp proofing badly blown kitchen wall. Very pleasant, helpful, polite people did the survey and Dampcourse. Left the kitchen very clean and tidy. Took longer than expected to fix a date for the work but that was due to finding a mutually convenient time. I would recommend to others
