From the very start of my apprenticeship over 30 years ago it was obvious electrical installation, is a trade to be only carried out by fully qualified competent experienced individual's. I worked for and then ran a ECA registered electrical contractor firm for over 16 years, and in 1996 went out on my own and from the very start my customers were going to receive the best service that I could provide.
NAPIT has strict membership criteria which include operating procedures, business practices & complete technical competence from reference manuals to complete installation with annual technical assessment for all of its members & their staff to confirm that their work continues to comply with current Regulations, Standards & codes of practice.
