ASW Scaffolding Ltd have been trading from their head office in West Hagbourne near Didcot since it was formed by owner and Managing Director, Stephen White, in 2001. Stephen and members of his management team have been working within the scaffolding sector for over 30 years and between them have a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Safety lies at the core of our work. The Health and Safety of our teams and those around us represent the most important aspect of everything we do at ASW Scaffolding Ltd. We believe in a methodical and systematic approach to safety and continually re-evaluate our procedures so that they remain robust.
CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) was created by experienced health and safety professionals in 1997 to improve health and safety standards across the UK.
In partnership with the Association of London Government (ALG), CHAS was a key developer of the core criteria held in the Approved Code of Practice which supported the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (now recognised as CDM 2015) and is a founder member of SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement).

Someone seriously needs to sort out their drivers. I'm clearly not the only one who's had a problem with them. In Bristol on of the drivers swerved into my lane, and when we beeped they slowed down, shouting abuse, and proceeded to swerve towards me as if trying to hit me. Something needs to be done, they are going to cause a serious accident.

Unfortunately you have to give a star rating. Your van driver and passenger in Gosport were drinking dudwiser while driving and then throwing the bottles out of the window. As a carpenter I'll make sure to stay away from anything you've erected. How you're still trading is beyond belief. Sort your blokes out. Reg was PX13? Something like that anyway.

I would like to add my comment regarding the disgraceful and dangerous experience I have had from one of this company's drivers. It is not very pleasant cycling on the road, where I am allowed to be, and have one of their vans speed up behind me, sound its horn and then get verbal abuse from the passenger as they pass me far too closely.

I would never employ anyone who displays the level of anger, abuse and horrific driving that I witnessed today in Spencers Wood. The driver from this company was driving a minibus. He nearly pulled into me, I had to swerve to avoid a crash. He then swore and was abusive. I really hope this company gets this man anger management counselling.

Very rude, one of their van (AWS scaffolding in orange)with 2-3 employers opened the window and shouted at me and my wife in Bracknell, while we were having a walk with our dog in day light. I reported it to their customer service provided. Hope the employers will be told off. This behaviour must be descouraged, verbal abuse can be investigated by police.

I have nothing to say about their Scaffolding work but this morning on Thornhill Park road in Hedge End. One of their vans was coming out of the texaco garage, it was our right of way to pull out first. He had no indicators on and crossed the road in front of us almost causing a crash. The lovely passenger in the vehicle then decided to put his finger up at us, very polite! The driving of this company is appalling and dangerous and in a marked van is a little bit silly.
