No problem - this is our bread and butter. When it comes to unblocking and clearing blocked drains, Alpha Rod has all the expertise and equipment you need to get the job done quickly, professionally and with the minimum of fuss. On unblocking your drain as part of our service and at no extra cost we will check the drain that is blocked with our CCTV camera equipment where possible.
If the storm water is not connected to either the foul or a separate storm water drainage system it will lead to a local storm soakaway.
Soakaways can be made in lots of different ways from the storm water downpipe just stopping when it goes underground to a correctly installed storm system where the soakaway is over 5 metres from your property as per current building regulations and the soakaway is made up of either large clean stone or storm water soakaway crates.The soakaway pipe is usually perforated at the soakaway so that water can soak away into the ground when it rains.

We currently look after many factories and office blocks on a monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly basis planned maintenance service. The idea behind the pre-planned maintenance is to remove the issues of the emergency call out. As emergencies can happen at any time they usually will happen at the most inconvenient and expensive time.

We repair any foul or storm water pipe under the ground by either a non-dig repair or by excavating and replacing.

When I rang it was prompt answer, really friendly yet professional. I think the guy's name was Chris, but he answered my questions, asked relevant questions, was transparent with costs for that day and the following, and managed expectations of time frames for arrival of the technician.
The next day I did call to find a rough time and spoke to him again, again polite, friendly and said the technician would call, he was in Bath and I was next. The technician Alan did send a text with time plus also called. When he arrived he was really friendly and polite yet efficient, he dealt with the blockages

I fully recommend this firm. I called them over the weekend and they answered the phone very quickly and gave me time to explain the situation and they fitted in with my diary. We booked in a time for them to come.Their office called me before the appointment and I was spoken to very politely and considerately. The job was completed properly and with no extra costs.

I had a block sewer and even though they could of charged me they advised me that wessex water would do the job for free because of circumstances they could of just took my money and done the job but we're honest and offered me a alternative solotution
Really pleased and will deffinatly use them should the occasion arise.

I spoke to Pandora who was extremely helpful and patient in explaining costs and also took time in understanding what the problem actually was. Alpha Rod definitely got me out of a jam. Word to the wise, if you put expanding foam down holes next to a drain, absolutely make sure you've not got a hole in your drain beforehand.

Unfortunately 1 star, initially I was glad that Alpharod responded so quickly then later arranged to visit a day earlier than planned. However, the operator only spent 29 mins on the job. A camera survey was conducted but no attempt to remove the blockage was made. The survey markers positioned in the garden afterwards for digging were found to be… a metre out laterally which resulted in a much larger hole needing to be dug out. A bit slow on diligence and unfortunately too quick to write the bill which had to be paid before the operative left the property. I would not recommend this company

Very impressed - after years of intermittent drainage problems which other people have looked at but not solved Alpha Rod knew exactly what they were doing, had all the right kit and sorted it out. Great professionalism and customer service, I would definitely recommend them to anyone with drainage issues.

I tried unblocking the drain myself but after 3 hours knew I needed a professional. Call a few number and choose the most professional I talked to. I called Chris Berry at 15.30 and choose a next day visit, even thought Chris offered same day, Chris couldn't be anymore helpful.
08.30 next day Alpha Rod arrive and within the hour completed the job… which I have failed to do in 3 hours. I wish I could remember the employees name who turned up because he was fantastic, there again, I probably don't need to name him as I'm confident whoever Chris sends would be just as efficient, professional
