Strict control of light is essential for successful poultry production. Sunlight ingress into poultry houses can affect the overall health of livestock and can cause excessive pecking amongst young birds. Maintaining the right balance between ventilation and suppression of external light in poultry houses can be difficult.
Spraydown's cost effective vane type droplet separator has been designed to give the maximum moisture separation with the lowest possible pressure drop. Quickflow separators have been independently tested to BS EN 13030:2001 (ventilation for buildings), achieving a class A1 rating. Droplet separation is over 99.9% even at a flow rate of 3.5m/s, with only a 40Pa pressure drop (see full data below).
