Antique removals is a delicate operation. It's very important for our customers to know that they can rely on us to transport their belongings with care and attention. Whether we are transporting to or from your home, Auction House or Antiques shop we are dedicated to the safety and care of a smooth delivery.
Should you choose to use our packing service, our packing team will arrive the day before the removal team and will prepare and pack all your possessions to ensure trouble-free transport to your destination. Fragile items and glassware are individually wrapped and protected, then packed into removal cartons, which are labelled so they are easily identifiable at your new home.

Used this firm recently to move house with restricted access at the new property. The guys turned up on time and got straight to it! Everything was well packed and protected, nothing was damaged. The guys were jovial and checked up regularly on items that either did or didn't need moving. They had my place cleared with in 2hrs and the same the other end. They all worked hard and I was very impressed. The quote was fair and I'd recommend them and use them again!

Ashdown moving packed up my elderly aunt’s house and moved her to a retirement flat. They were punctual,friendly and very helpful and efficient.They were especially mindful of my aunt being elderly and helped move things for her in the new flat.She was very nervous about having people packing her things and being in the house but they were very respectful and she felt relaxed. Andrea in the office was always very helpful and responded quickly to any questions. She was also very prompt arranging collection of the empty boxes. Would not hesitate to recommend this company -especially for elderly

When we moved form London to East Sussex last year I did extensive research into removals companies and eventually settled with Ashdown Moving Group, due to their prompt response to my enquiries, flexibility to accommodate our continually changing storage requirements and move date and competitive quote - they weren't the cheapest but we felt they offered very good value for money.

We were very impressed with Ashdown removals. They were punctual, worked fantastically hard over the three days we needed them for. Nothing phased them, despite having to clear an old 3 storey house plus basement.... Mark and his team cared really well for all our possessions. Looked after expensive items very well. Cannot recommend them highly enough ....would use them again... and unloading were very patient as we guided them to where we needed things to go... thank you to the team...

I cant praise this business enough. Of all the removal companies I contacted they were the best at responding and answered all my questions quickly and without fuss.
The removal team were really efficient, helpful and made what can be quite an emotional day really easy for us, and they moved our belongings so quickly!
Brilliant job all round, I wouldn't consider any other company in the future. This is the one.

I can't recommend Ashdown Moving Group highly enough. They were absolutely brilliant and ensured move day went smoothly.
We moved 4 years ago and had an absolute nightmare with the removal company we used. So we realise just how important a good removal service is.
We had a four bedroom house with a lot of stuff! They came the day before completion and packed as much of our items as they could to relieve the pressure of move day. They worked REALLY, REALLY hard and just got on with the job. Nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely brilliant.
