Health and Safety is at the core of Totem Scaffolding's work ethic and our workforce is experienced and highly trained. Each team member holds the CSCS HS&E Specialist Working at Height card and is trained under the Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS). You can be assured of a professional, polite and friendly manner from our team members at all times.
Totem Scaffolding owns an extensive stock of scaffolding materials and equipment to fulfil all types of contract. Our bespoke suppliers can provide additional materials at short notice if needed. All our scaffold tube conforms to either: BS EN 10219-1 with an outside diameter of 48.3mm and a wall thickness of 3.2mm or BS EN 39 with an outside diameter of 48.3mm and a wall thickness of 4mm.
Totem Scaffolding is based one mile from Junction 10 of the M40 in North Oxfordshire. This means we are in an ideal position for the efficient and safe transportation of both our workforce and materials throughout Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties. Our current branded fleet includes a range of vehicles from Toyota half-back and 3.5 ton Transit style units to 18 ton DAF LF55s with 22ft, fully drop-side beds.
The majority of Totem Scaffolding scaffolds are built to TG20.21 Technical Guidance and these are issued with a Compliance sheet and Handover certificate upon completion. TG20:21 Technical Guidance was created by the NASC (National Access & Scaffolding Confederation), using strength and stability calculations to conform to the European standard for scaffolding: BS EN 12811.
