All materials are standard white plastic sockets and switches or we can install equipment provided by you, e.g Metallic switches and sockets. Over the years electrical wiring can become worn out, insulation will deteriorate over time due to excessive heat caused by current often resulting in cable to appear brittle and break apart.
We would need to put a separate quote together for an RCBO protected fuse board installation as these are typically more expensive for parts and in some circumstances is a better option. Although a dated fuse board without RCD or RCBO protection continues to supply electricity around your home the form of protection will be minimal.
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) will give you a report and diagnosis of the condition of your current installation. This starts with a visual inspection and a series of tests on the safety of your electrical system.
