My wife and I approached Fibre Architects to help us in the initial design of our extensive house renovation. The works needed to incorporate domestic and business development of the property and Fibre was successful in fulfilling our brief whilst.

The request we made to Martin and Michael from Fibre Architects was to build a property, for a 75+ years couple, with maximum sunlight, open plan living and thinking about what our future health needs might be.
The site was almost a triangle as it was at the bottom of our garden.
Everything we wished for has been achieved.
Martin and Michael made internal adjustments to plan when we asked.
They were exceptionally good to deal with and cooperated with our chosen builder.
The final result is a fantastic home for us to enjoy.

We are delighted with the finished development at our home and credit must go to Fibre Architects for their professional expertise in its creation. The initial brief delivered to Fibre was then interpreted into a series of drawings, all of which delivered exactly what we were looking for but ranged from a "safe" "modest" design to a "wow" "exciting" design which pushed me and my husband to the edge of our comfort zone. We went for the latter and are so happy that we were presented with this option.

We appointed Fibre to design a garden room a few years ago which has been a fabulous addition to our house - amazing design that we love to look at from our house. It is very modern but sits perfectly in the grounds of our listed 170 year old house. We then asked them to come up with a "glass box" design for an extension to our house to give us a bigger kitchen, bedroom and a new family living space. The plans were approved by Historic England at the first attempt (well done Michael!) and the finished results are totally spectacular. Fibre were brilliant at every step and worked with us closely

We bought the property as a renovation project for our forever home, we therefore looked to engage with the right companies and contractors rather than ones offering the cheapest or quickest turnarounds. We were keen to work with companies that had experience of conservation areas and understood how to preserve the character of an existing property whilst bringing it up to modern standards and incorporating contemporary designs.

Currently at the construction tender stage of our large extension project and thus far, Fibre have been fantastic. They have been attentive to our brief and have understood our vision for the project whilst using their skill and flair to create a truly exciting design. We have no prior experience of commissioning significant projects and they have supported us at every step, explaining what is required and suggesting professionals, who have all been efficient and of high calibre.

Our project involved creating a new dwelling within the grounds of a Listed building. Fibre worked closely with us and the planning department to produce a superb design solution which ultimate will be practical and cost-effective to build. They ticked all the boxes for us and for the planners, no mean feat.

I have future plans for a loft conversion and contacted Fibre about this. They were incredibly helpful from the outset - very professional and knowledgeable & full of ideas and solutions that I hadn't even considered. They were able to give me a realistic estimate of the costs and a good concept of what will be involved. I'm looking forward to working with them on the conversion and I'd recommend them based on my experience with them so far and their portfolio.
