Set up in 1979 by carpet fitter Mike Barber, 'Mike Barber Carpets' was the first independent carpet store in Stratford upon Avon. Sons Simon and James joined the business in the early 90's and and over the last 25 years have grown barbers flooring into over 6,000sq ft of retail space deditcated to carpets, wood and hard floors.
Choosing the right carpet can be a daunting task and the market place is constantly evolving with improvements in fibre technology and changing styles. Our sales team have years of experience and will help you find the perfect design, style and colour for your home. We have 100s of carpets in stock and are always happy to supply samples for you to look at in your own home.
We have the largest rug showroom in the area stocking rugs from around the world from traditional to contemporary. Our buying team keep up to date with ever changing trends ensuring our stock is constantly changing. We stock a huge range of brands, and if it's not in stock, we can order rugs in any size or colour.
There are so many types of wood flooring on offer - solid wood, engineered wood or laminate. We stock 100s of woods and specialise in bespoke decorative wooden flooring. Laid in patterns such as herringbone or chevron, solid wood blocks can be coloured and finished to create a truly unique floor. For a more cost effective option, we have laminate flooring in stock.
Traditionally referred to as 'luxury vinyl flooring', we specialise in Amtico and Karndean flooring and are an Amtico One retailer. Both British companies, these luxury floor tiles are available in a huge range of design styles such as stone, wood and marble. Our sales team can offer you a personalised design experience via our in-store room visualiser which allows you to upload images from your home to create stunning floors.

Brilliant service and great products. I visited the showroom and brought home many samples. Tim came and measured up very quickly and we had a quote the same day. Connor and Luke provided an excellent service in the removal of all the existing carpet and then took care of the fitting, on our chosen date before all of our new doors were fitted upstairs. What hardworking, pleasant and hardworking guys! Thank you so much. Looks grand!
