Wanted to replace a gas fire, was told there was only one option which would have looked wrong. I nearly went with an electric one until I got a second opinion. Turns out I had plenty of choice.... was totally misled and misinformed. Don’t like leaving negative reviews, but felt the need to forewarn. I used this company before with no problems, however it has been taken over by two employees of the previous owners.

Spent £5k having Bell gas fire installed, Installation OK shocking after sales service, despite telling me they had a maintenance regime that would service fire annually. This promise is pure fantasy despite numerous calls no one can be bothered to contact me. Absolutely shocking would not recommend this company or Bell fires to any one -10

We have had 4 gas fires installed by Heat Design in various properties, evidence of our satisfaction with their products and installations. A couple of minor problems with our latest have been rectified courteously and promptly without quibble. Their customer care is exemplary. We highly recommend this company.

We have bought two fireplaces this year, I can see why certain people may have found the service stand-offish as the old warehouse in Roper Close was huge, and the guys let people wander without being hassled.. more respectful than "not bothered", they're very helpful if you approach them! Now they are based in Wincheap it will be more hands-on service in a "proper shop", so will suit the people who weren't so happy before. Great service, lovely people, very helpful and great after-sales help too.
