Services
As a long standing independent firm we specialise in the investment and management of property. We act for various, Public and Private Companies, Developers as well as Residents Associations and Flat Management Companies, some of whom have been using our services for many years. Our head office in Ilford consist of various Departments to help deal with all aspects of property matters from one central area.
We have a number of dedicated accounts teams, who are available to assist you with any queries in relation to your property account. Where a service charge payment is collected the amount can vary from time to time. Charges are payable in accordance with lease terms but each maybe collected in instalment by agreement.
As a long established firm in the property market we are often instructed to undertake valuations and give advice to clients on a range of matters. We act for vendors and purchasers of investment property. We particularly deal with freehold ground rent investment and residential leaseholds. We act for Developers, Residents Associations, Flat Management Companies and other organisations to give professional advice and values on property interests.

Absolute joke of a company. Each year they raise their maintenance costs however do not provide any service. I have called every other month for over a year for they to patch the gutters of our property. Whenever they do answer they give false promises of doing their job. We have aspestus falling down on our door steps and nothing is ever done.

I cannot rate this firm highly enough. My account was in credit, due to an oversight on my part. J. Nicholson and Son wrote to tell me as much. Not many companies would do that. I called them and got an answer almost immediately with the promise of a refund to come. I have never had any issues with this company, so was surprised by some of the other reviews.

Unfortunately I could not rate 0 (I would if I could) as that is more deserving for their service. I have in my time experienced some terrible service but this J Nicholson & Son are by far the WORST! AVOD AVOID - if you have a choice. If you do not have a choice, then check your options with a solicitor as J Nicholson will abuse their their position every chance they get..

Dreadful service with bunch of liers. Recently bought a property and contacted them being free holders. My solicitor sent all the information before completion and when contacted them they said not having received the paper work, my solcitor shared prooof of sending the paperwork with the person delaing at this company in CC, since then no further commuincation . Called numerous times and sent emails no reply. Not sure why these people are in business when they don't serve their clients. Completely unprofessional and disgusting standards of service.
