The Skipton Kitchen Company was established in 1999 with a small showroom in the High Corn Mill in Skipton, North Yorkshire. Within the first year, we relocated to larger showroom premises at 18 Water Street, Skipton and successfully operated there for numerous years.
In 2008, we decided to massively reduce our overheads by closing the showroom and operating from home in order to offer a more competitive service, allowing us to pass big savings onto you, the client. We pride ourselves on providing a first class showroom service from our design studio, simply at a fraction of the cost.
During the last 24 years, we have built up excellent relationships with other local tradesmen, allowing us to seamlessly project manage by liaising with builders on your behalf. Furthermore, we take care of the electrics and plumbing for you, providing a true one-stop service.

We chose the Skipton Kitchen Company having read the reviews on their website about the approach to planning and design of the kitchen and the standard of workmanship during the installation.
Michael visited us at home and we described our requirements, what we wanted from our kitchen and issues we had with the layout of our current kitchen. Michael then took some measurements and we met again a week later.
Michael had produced a 3D representation of what our new kitchen would look like. It was exactly as we had described save for a couple of tweaks he had made that we both felt enhanced the design. During that meeting we chose the finishes and kitchen appliances we wanted, received a quote and placed the order.
Our project required building work and Michael recommended tradesmen he had worked with before. The builder, window fitter and plasterer all delivered to a high standard at a good price. Michael also recommended the tiler and the floor fitter who again were excellent.
The agreed timetable was impacted by the COVID lockdown but Michael kept us informed so we were aware the revised schedule.
The process of removing our old kitchen and installing the new one was excellent, the workmanship was first rate.
We are both delighted with the outcome and the overall cost. We fully recommend the company to anyone planning their own kitchen project.

Michael Ogden is definitely well worth factoring into your kitchen plans ..... His attention to detail is that of a perfectionist. We were thrilled with the outcome .... All this happened in the middle of the lock down too .... but Michael ensured we were well catered for!

We chose Michael because of all the quotes we had, he came up with the best design suggestions beyond what we originally had in mind. The result is excellent, there is so much more practical space and storage than we had before and it looks great. There were some minor damaged in transit issues from the supplier, but these were sorted. Recommended for both design and customer care.
