I (Matt Taylor) started landscaping 23 years ago for a reputable high end garden design and build company in Barnes. I taught myself to design. Took a pencil, pad and scale ruler and have, now honed my skills to where, now. I charge for full scaled designs. Which only experience can teach. I wasn't taught any school of thought.
No matter how big or small the project is, it is always worth having some form of design plan drawn up, even if it is a simply scale sketch. This will allow you to visualize the layout and discuss your ideas before any of the build starts. Remember we have a vast amount of experience and can help you by showing you examples how best to achieve your dream space.

Once the design stage has been agreed construction can commence. This is carefully implemented by our team under the supervision or our designers to ensue the design is delivered to your expectations. From paving, decking, planting and rendering to irrigation and water features, your garden will be built to the highest standards, by a professional and courteous team using the finest materials sourced to budget.
Thoughtfully designed and well constructed fencing can make a significant difference to the appearance of your garden. In addition, fencing is easier to maintain than any hedge and offers increased privacy and security. Taylored Gardens have been supplying and installing fencing around the surrey area for over 10 years and guarantee all workmanship.

Great experience, we have used Matt twice already. He listens carefully to the customer's ideas and he's not short of great suggestions to complement the final design. He is very skilful (decking, patios, landscaping, planting, etc.....), pays attention to detail and is very enthusiastic. A great combination to get high quality results up to the customer's expectations. Strongly recommended.

Through the recommendation of friends we use Taylored Gardens for a complete redesign of our back garden. Matt came up with a fantastic initial design which he consistently reviewed and updated with us as the work progressed. Although Matt’s design pushed our comfort zones initially, as the expert, we went with his ideas and they turned out to be spot on.
The exterior of the house has a cottage-like feel and the design and variety of materials Matt used gave us the contemporary garden we were looking to achieve but remained complementary to the house.

Absolutely amazing! The real bonus is that they design and build your garden so know what will work and how to do it. My requests were carefully followed ( and improved upon) so that I have my dream garden now. They are thoughtful, professional and hard working. I cannot recommend too highly this team of garden designers. Look no further.

Matt and his team were brilliant and exceeded all our expectations . Matt sat down with us and planned an outline for our front garden . We wanted something easy to maintain with colourful plants and Victorian stonework. The team worked really hard , were very tidy and the final outcome was perfect. We have already recommended Matt to friends and neighbours.
