Often they are looking only for us to produce their Building Regulation drawings and obtain Building Regulation Approval. We often go on to obtain Planning and Building Regulation approval for their chosen design. Regardless of where you are in the Design, Planning and Building Regulation process contact us now to discuss your project to receive impartial, expert advice without any cost or obligation to you.
You may already have a builder in mind that has been recommended to you. Recommendations are the best way for you to find a professional, reliable builder. We can invite builders to tender for your works from our pre approved panel, from your recommendations and via reliable trade sites. We calculate an indicative cost for your preferred design.
We clarify why you need to have a contract in place with your builder, whether you personally know the builder or not. We can provide a template contract and recommend additional terms and conditions specific to your individual project and personal circumstances. Generally at this juncture, we will have prepared your drawings and you are using our Step 2 & 3 process.
This is the nickname many of our existing clients gave as we can be with you right from the design stage right through to the completion of the works. We help all of our clients to find the best deals for the larger and more costly items. Items that often the builder would source at trade and add their profit margin before selling to you.

No, not the most creative plans.
I used these guys 2 years back to design an extension. They immediately ruled out building foundations in my back garden because it was 'too low' (not the best communication in terms of why)... bit of a 'no' culture possibly. And the side extension (double storey) - without much improvement at all was coming in at 100k.
2 years later and I built a foundation myself on stilts (in the back) and now have a lovely and very spacious timber frame solution with a massive lounge for only 40k. On the side - I simply extended my kitchen with a triple glazed luxury conservatory

I recently contacted Paul Bradley at Bricks and Pieces about our planned kitchen/living space re-design. Paul was immediately helpful, positive and friendly. He very quickly arranged for his kitchen planner, Kevin, to call to the house for a consultation.
Kevin was also friendly and helpful. He had some great ideas that we hadn't considered and gave us some really good, practical advice. Kevin certainly knows his trade!

Bricks and pieces came recommended to us by a friend who had a very attractive extension. They were really responsive to my initial enquiry and we were booked in for a consultation with Paul very quickly. I'd put together some ideas and appreciate that Paul had reviewed them to get a feel for what we were after. He then came out to the house and his passion was infectious! He's come up with some great ideas, I feel like he really listened to us and it was great to see his excitement in what we could do to enhance our living space. A great service so far and I'm excited about the next steps!

Weve just had our initial zoom consultation with Paul from Bricks and Pieces to discuss a side extension on the house we're currently purchasing. We were very suprised by the flexibility of the services the company offer to fit our needs and the fact that no momey is being asked of us at this point.
There is no question that Paul knows everything about the business and it feels like he really does want to look after us as the client to get us a good job completed whilst looking to save us money at the same time. We ended the call feeling really reassured and impressed.

Paul was extremely knowledgeable and personable in our informal meeting to discuss our needs. He was able to provide clear information and an approximate costing for the cost of our build. We feel reassured that his company will be able to meet our needs and enable us to build the family home we have saved for. We have no building/trades experience, so being able to instruct a company who will oversee our extension from start to finish, including finding reputable builders and potentially enabling us to source furnishings at the end of the process i.e. Kitchens, bathrooms and bedroom furniture

From the first time we contacted Bricks and Pieces we had had good service. We received a call back promptly. The service we have received has been professional and the team are very pleasant. We had a visit from Paul, although we had spoken over the telephone he wanted to see us in person to fully understand what ideas we had to renovate the home. Paul advised us to slow down, think carefully and see what idea and plans he could come up with, as when considering a big renovation and spending money he wanted to make sure we knew exactly what we wanted before spending the cash. Very impressed with the initial free consultation with Bricks and Pieces who we contacted regarding a kitchen extension. The zoom call was professional and informative and most importantly we felt like Paul had our best interests at heart. We've been able to book in a measured survey with no pressure to commit to any costs until a week before the survey, being able to cancel or move the survey at any time which really helps us as we are currently finishing up the purchase of our house so exact dates are unknown so Bricks and Pieces flexibility is really helpful in this regard.

Had my first consultation with Paul for a proposed kitchen extension. I was well informed about the process of carrying out the building work and what it entails, also having the one stop shop option for all the work required. As I haven't exchanged the contracts of my new house yet, Paul advised me to not have any drawings until then, which would avoid losing money should it not go ahead and I appreciate his honesty.

My partner and I recently bought a house in Manchester. Great service from Bricks and Pieces. A few years ago we had our loft converted and really pleased with the job from start to finish, and more recently we had a BIG kitchen extension which is now complete and has literally transformed our house.
On both projects Bricks and Pieces offered great advice and design, and worked with us flexibly on this - they listened to us and turned the designs around quickly and efficiently. They then project managed the entire build with their recommended builders. Both projects were completed on time and more importantly on budget.
