Searle & Taylor has been designing beautiful kitchens in Hampshire and beyond since 1991. With a reputation for fantastic design expertise and excellent service, we also understand and respect the architecture of your home. We know that buying a kitchen is a big decision and there is a lot to consider: choosing a layout, picking the style, colour, furniture, appliances, splashbacks and work surfaces.
At Searle & Taylor, we offer two types of English bespoke kitchens. Our Handmade Bespoke option focuses on the traditional Shaker kitchen style, designed to suit your lifestyle and hand-painted in a range of beautiful colour options. With our Signature Bespoke offer, intelligent design meets engineering prowess with these handcrafted kitchens where we custom-design every detail, combining traditional craftsmanship with 21st Century twists.
Since 1991 Searle & Taylor has specialised in designing and creating stunning Handmade kitchens and is one of very few kitchen companies in Hampshire that offer this truly bespoke service. All our English hand-crafted furniture and cabinetry is made to order in UK workshops, is unique in its specification and tailor-made to your requirements, so no two kitchens are ever the same.

We used Searle & Taylor kitchens of Winchester to design and make a full bespoke kitchen for our home in Hampshire as part of a large extension. We wanted the worktops to finish higher than a standard kitchen, so they created larger cabinets rather than simply increasing the plinth so as not to waste valuable storage space. We worked with owner Darren Taylor and his designer Gavin who both understood our requirements and advised us throughout the design process. After wondering into the showroom having almost signed up somewhere else, we quickly realised Searle & Taylor were the best option for us. The kitchen we had been looking at wasn’t a fully bespoke product, like the one sold to us by Searle & Taylor and Darren & Gavin gave some brilliant design tips that have really improved the usability of our kitchen. We used Searle & Taylor to make our bespoke kitchen. We found the design process very inspiring and Darren helped us decide on our kitchen right through from the concept to the installation. His aftercare has been exceptional. Nothing is to much trouble and if there is a problem as there sometimes can be with hand made products, he came straight out to deal with it, no quibble. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a personal and professional service.

Searle and Taylor come highly recommended. From the planning stage all the way to the fitting. Our new kitchen is far higher quality than many other brand names and all made to measure for our room. It is certainly a premium product and that quality is justified within the price. The joinery is superb with an absolutely perfectly square installation. The delivery time from order was good, the fitting and painting all went well with professional tradesmen, and everyone is happy!

Amazing quality, precision and style are the hallmarks of the Searle and Taylor kitchen we had installed nearly 4 years ago - and it still looks as classy as the day it was installed. The designers and engineers satisfied all our demands, and even the odd quirky whim, with professionalism and quite some patience. We required units to house laundry, pantry, utility store, as well as all white goods, housing for an unsightly boiler, and all drawers necessary for a very busy cooking and baking schedule. We asked Searle and Taylor to return to our property to create a new television unit/coffee station to match exactly with the existing Kitchen they had installed several years earlier.
Darren’s attention to detail matched my fussy needs to make sure that the new unit matched the old in every way. Darren then arranged for the entire kitchen to be repainted, all cupboard and drawer handles to be replaced and the final outcome is fantastic.
I can’t recommend Searle & Taylor enough, their design, quality, final touches and them not signing off the job until I was totally satisfied is reason for
