We started in 1978 manufacturing ceramics and since that time have built up a comprehensive knowledge of the techniques used in the different methods of tile making. We were approached by the Faenol Estate to provide replicas of 19th century tiling for a restoration project and following its successful completion further enquiries followed.
In 1998 we discontinued our general manufacturing to concentrate on tiling restoration and conservation. Over the years we have gained a vast experience in ceramic tile restoration and conservation. We are able to provide a comprehensive service to you from professional cleaning through repairs and restoration to installing a completely new floor.

Rieveley Ceramics offers conservation expertise for ceramic tiling and mosaics. We have experience in conservation of floor and wall tiles along with mosaic. We have carried many projects on numerous buildings interiors and exteriors helping to preserve their rich heritage of listed buildings and in ordinary domestic dwellings.

Rieveley Ceramics specializes in restoring Victorian/Edwardian geometric and encaustic tiling, offering a range of economical services to meet the individual needs of the customer.
Rieveley Ceramics has the experience and expertise needed for installing geometric and encaustic tiling. We will install new tiling or use restored original tiling. We offer advice on design and will supply detailed plans to give you a picture of the floor, to ensure that you are happy before the tiles are laid.
Rieveley Ceramics has been involved in a number of projects which required the restoration of wall tiling. It is often a requirement in the restoration of listed buildings that original tiling is retained. As well as conserving the tiles in situ, our manufacturing facility allows us to make replica tiling where original tiles are missing or damaged.
Rieveley Ceramics produces tiles for special commissions and for restoration work. Using different clays, glazes and various decorative techniques we aim to precisely match original tiling. We have made tiles for floors and walls, for fireplaces and surrounds, also special one off commemorative pieces.
