Internal rendering is a more hard wearing alternative to plasterboarding before being skimmed. The sand and cement mix is spread on the walls in 2 coats, this improves durability and insulation. External render is applied in the same way and is just as hard wearing. The final product is a smooth and sturdy finish, ready for a coat of paint.
