These guys came and templated, cut and laid a hearthstone out of a slab I had picked up in a reclamation yard. It's an unusually translucent stone (onyx) and when I told them this on the phone they had a helpful good idea to paint the back so that the adhesive base wouldn't show through. What's more, they did it on a weekend and they came and did the whole job on site, so I didn't have to worry about waiting in for multiple times for pickups/drop offs etc ... oh and they were about 20% cheaper than the other quotes I had had locally. Would definitely use again if I find myself needing more stone
