Really polite technician, but I definitely got the feeling that he felt that he had to 'spread the job out' so that the office could charge more. An hour and a half job could have been done in less than half an hour. Lots of idle chat, wondering around, taking ages to get his gear out of his car, taking ages to fit a door contact point, all added up to an eye watering £230 for nothing much. When I objected to the office staff, they were less than interested and said that I should have told the technician to keep quiet and get on with his job.
