During my childhood, I spent every spare moment endlessly redecorating and reorganising my bedroom, and I thrived in the creative subjects at school!
At Sophie Sews we create bespoke curtains, blinds and soft furnishings for your home. Crucially though, we don't just work with our own preferred fabric designers and suppliers. We are also happy to create unique handmade products with your own fabrics, to work with pre-existing curtains and blinds, or even create brand new window dressings from wonderful vintage treasures for a completely unique touch.

We contacted Sophie Sews for new curtains for our newly built bedroom. she came over and provided great advices and fast quotation and we had our beautiful curtains installed just before Christmas. We have just taken delivery of a set of new curtains matching voile, roman blind and re-upholstered stool and chair. The whole process of engaging Sophie and her lovely team in the shop has been a joy from start to finish. Sophie was brilliant in her fabric selections and the quality of the workmanship and with this I include the fitting of the blinds and curtains is excellent.

Sophie come to our home to help me select some curtain fabric, she was punctual, lovely and friendly and quickly helped me find a fabric. I am absolutely thrilled with the final product and although we have had a few issues with hanging the curtains (all my own doing) I can't wait to get them fully installed.

Brilliant service. Sophie gave us expert advice and help with choosing the right curtains and fittings for our sitting room. We did actually source our own fabric which then took some time to be supplied - not Sophie’s fault at all. Once the fabric was received Sophie Sews made the curtains up and fitting was arranged very quickly. We are so pleased with the curtains which give our room a light, airy and modern look and we cannot fault the professional service that we received. Thank you Sophie

Sophie fitted almost all of our curtains and blinds in our new home. She was extremely helpful when choosing the fabric and styles and the quality of the curtains and blinds is excellent. I am delighted with my new curtains. I have waited over a year since I decorated my sitting room for curtains and haven't had any for 4 years from when I first moved in. So this was an important purchase and I wanted to get it right.
Sophie was very helpful and made useful suggestions with choice of fabric.
Once I had decided on style and material she gave me an expected date they would be ready and she was spot on.
The team that came and fitted the curtains were brilliant. They did a really good job and were very professional making minimum mess and cleared away.
