At NATURAL PLASTERING we are passionate about creating beautiful plaster and cement finishes made with natural eco-friendly materials. We use lime and gypsum which are natural ingredients which produce stunning finishes, and are kind to the environment. The best finishes for a bathroom or wet area are TADELAKT lime plaster, or microcement (also known as polished cement).
We specialise in providing fine plaster and micocement finishes for luxury hotel suites, where customers pay top dollar for the best. Due to the prestigious nature of this work we respect the privacy and confidentiality that the top hotels favour so won't list them here, but suffice it to say that if you are looking out from one of the top floor suites over Hyde Park, it's quite possible that the beautiful finish of the decor was Gueorgui's work.
Using ancient techniques honed over centuries, Gueorgui creates stunning finishes for wet rooms, bathrooms, & showers. At Natural Plastering, we are well aware of the various problems that arise due to the installation of non-waterproof plasters. The plaster might look good for some time, but it gets quite difficult to protect it from moisture and prevent it from peeling away and corrupting the structure.
POLISHED CONCRETE is also known as POLISHED CEMENT and MICROCEMENT, and is a very good choice for kitchen worktops or furniture due to it's very hard wearing qualities and stunning look. Microcement is fully waterproof, and can be used for all surfaces: worktops, furniture, walls, and floors. Polished Plaster and Tadelakt are both water resistant, but not waterproof.
Polished plaster is mainly used indoors on walls and ceilings to give a spectacular finish that looks like polished marble or limestone. A cement based coating for floors and walls - 2-3 mm thick - with an high abrasion resistance. Due to its excellent bonding power Microcement can be applied to almost any kind of stable surface, including ceramics/tiles.
