Damp2Dry carried out damp proof work to the ground floor of my house and rerenderd the back wall as well other bits of pointing and chimney work. The workmen were on time every day and the work is finished really well, very pleased with it. Kate and Ruth at the office were also really helpful and friendly which made everything much easier to sort.

I requested an inspection and in-person quote for remedying damp on an old stone wall.
While the guy who visited was friendly and on-time, he simply whipped out a moisture meter, confirmed that the wall was indeed damp (which I already knew) and suggested I paint over it with a non-permeable sealant or paint.
That will not fix the problem, but only sweep it under the rug and lead to bigger issues down the line. I have since had the wall looked at by a heritage / historical building specialist who has suggested a completely different, remedial course of action.

We used Damp2Dry to remove a chimney from the ground and 1st floor and we're very happy with the results. The workmen were professional, tidy and on time. Only dropped a star as the work took longer than quoted, which seems to be an issue more with the quote process rather than the workmen being slow! Overall I would recommend them for any building work you're considering.

We had a bad experience with another damp company who said we needed two entire walls replastering for damp damage. We were dubious so got this company in for a survey and they found we don’t have any damp at all, it’s condensation due to us having an old Edwardian house and central heating which isn’t ventilating properly.
Quoted us the same for a PIV installing that would tackle not only the issue but also help with the effects of the issue and the other company wanted to just replaster the walls, which would cover the issue for a while but not help at all. All at the same price.
