Sky Air Conditioning Ltd was formed in 2005 by Matthew Wimpress and Dan Carberry, who joined forces to launch a professional air conditioning service tailored to meet the needs of both domestic and commercial air conditioning clients. We recognise that air conditioning can often be seen as a specialist or luxury service.

We have over 20 years' experience installing air conditioning units and larger HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems. We know your time is precious so our flexible team is used to working whenever it suits you. And we're always up front about the time required to complete a project, whatever the scale.
Regular system maintenance extends the lifespan of air conditioning systems, not just their overall efficiency, which means genuine long-term cost savings for you. To ensure your system runs at its absolute best, we offer tailored and flexible maintenance packages, both for systems we install and ones already in place (with the latter subject to a full site survey).
Our service team is on hand 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to solve problems big and small. Whether it's with a system we've installed or an existing set-up, we're ready to help however we can. All our engineers have the City & Guilds Level 2 award in F-GAS & ODS Certification and NVQ Level 2 in Commercial Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
R22 is a refrigerant gas found in most air conditioning equipment over 10 years old. It is a hydrochloroflourocarbon (HCFC) and has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) if leaked into the atmosphere. In response to government and EU legislation to reduce ozone depleting gases, all HCFC refrigerants such as R22 stopped being used in newly manufactured air conditioning systems by 2004.
