South Coast Glazing offers a complete glass, mirror and glazing service. From small residential window repairs to large commercial and private and public sector glazing contracts including Roedean School, Sussex Community NHS Trust, Peacehaven Community School, Seahaven School, Seaford Head School and many of the local primary schools.
As well as our mirror showroom, our glass processing workshop is open 6 days a week. Our experienced staff are happy to discuss your ideas and advise on the products and processes available. Glass and mirror in a variety of thicknesses can be cut to size to suit picture frames through to tabletops and we can work from diagrams, templates and measurements.
We supply many types of glass such as toughened, laminated, wired, float, fire resistant and colour coated for splashbacks. We hold stocks of putty in different colours, silicones and sealants, vents, cat flaps, shelving brackets, screws and fixings and mirror adhesive - and much more. We can supply or supply and fit cat flaps to single glazing, double glazing and UPVC panels.
We can supply, or supply and fit, all styles of leaded glass from simple square and diamond patterns to coloured patterns and designs. Below are some examples of previous work and design ideas. Float Glass gets its name from the manufacturing process used to made it. Molten glass is 'floated' onto a bed of tin to ensure a glass sheet is flat and distortion free.
We manufacture our double-glazed sealed units in our workshops using top quality materials and machinery to ensure a high quality product. We cater for all size and thickness of double-glazed units using clear, patterned, toughened and laminated glass. A double-glazed sealed window comprises of two panes of glass.
