We are a family business in Christchurch, Dorset working in the local area. With more than 25 years experience. We offer a professional reliable & friendly service with high standard of workmanship, we are dedicated to one assignment at a time (where possible) We are fully insured and all work is guaranteed.
We can sort out almost all domestic plumbing problems whether it is a minor weeping joint to fitting a new bathroom suite we can do it. We have now had a number of home improvement projects that have been completed by The Home Doctor, the last of which is a ground floor oversized shower room, now updated and made more practical with a glass corner shower, modern basin unit and toilet. The work has been carried out with the utmost care and attention to detail.

Mike came and fitted a new kitchen door for us. His workmanship is impeccable - he worked quietly and methodically, clearing up as he went along (and at the end). The new door is of good quality and is exactly what we wanted. He is prompt, courteous and we would highly recommend his services. It's so good to know that we have someone reliable upon whom we can call as and when the need arises, and who charges a fair price for an excellent job.

Mike has been to see us twice, once to replace our bath panel and secondly to fit new taps and fix some missing sections from our banister - every time he’s been the work has been excellent and finished to a high standard. We had leak in the bathroom with water dripping through the ceiling downstairs. We looked on the internet for a plumber and made some calls but as it was short notice we were unable to get hold of a plumber. We then found The Home Doctor Handyman, we gave them a call. Mike said he would come out and arrived shortly after. He did a quick assessment and found the leak, he explained exactly what was wrong and the options for repair. It turned out the hot tap on the bath was the leaking and Mike suggested changing the old bath taps to a modern mixer tap with a shower attachment. We agreed as it was

Twice Mike has done work for us. He was honest about a job we asked about and said he could not do it, thus we got him back to have other work done on 2 occasions.
