Alert Plumbing and Heating are a dedicated and professional plumbing service, based in Ramsgate. Alert Plumbing and Heating offer you the reassurance that a handy plumber is never too far away. We cover Canterbury, Ashford, Dover and surrounding areas. There seems to be much confusion over these two words and below is our brief understanding of both.
Our standard rates are 60 for the first hour on site then 45 per hour or part there of, plus VAT and materials. At the discretion of the engineer on site a half hour charge may be charged at 25 after the first hour. This is for work carried out between 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.
At Alert Plumbing and Heating we try and offer impartial and unbiased plumbing advice to all of our domestic clients. Some of our key domestic boiler system hints and tips are presented below. We had an old gas pipe coming out of the floor and needed it removing. I contacted Alert plumbing and they came out the next day and did the job quickly and safely. I was given an estimate over the phone and at such short notice was not overcharged unlike some companies I contacted. Jake was on time, polite and thorough. Would happily recommend and use them again.

Noel and his assistant arrived within a couple of hours of our reporting a major fault to our heating system on one of the coldest days of the year. The job was complicated as it involved draining the system and fitting a new valve and pump. This was done promptly and efficiently over several hours. The system is now better than ever, and the price was reasonable. Noel will give useful advice on many aspects of home maintenance.

Noel did a great job. He kindly rescued my flat from becoming a swimming pool (from a burst pipe) in the middle of the night. An impressively fast and professional response to an emergency callout. Decent guy and decent prices. Thank you. Very glad when I found his number online and he answered his phone (quickly and alertly too). Nowhere else (even marked as emergency/24 hr services) answered their phones and I didn't know what to do. Thank you very much Noel. You really helped me out. Highly recommended.
