There are many reasons why you should use a cover lifter on your hot tub or spa. Don't buy here.
The company (Paul Harrison) received the payment but could not deliver for 4 months. Once I requested the money back they said i've accepted the terms so refund is not possible (by law). I just had to wait (with a spa without a cover on it, absolutely useless !!!) Even asked me if I could figure the transport out for them. Once I started pushing they managed to pull some strings and deliver the cover. Of course this had a negative impact on the price.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
Sadly I bought a cover in February and am still waiting. Three weeks ago interestingly the container from Canada has been customs checked? Which they say is the delay. But I really would be fine with this if it had been communicated and any emails I sent had been responded to. I only got a reply after threatening a charge back on my card and this reply was so rude. No consideration of how a buyer feels having paid the money. Makes you wonder why customs choose to review this companies containers!! I am in total shock with aggressiveness phew

Covers are NOT 'Made in Britain' hence why no showroom to view. Don't claim you do then!! Pointless asking for vinyl samples to select from as your cover won't match as ours did'nt! Cover was okay, but nothing special.
Best avoid as other poor reviews note!! Paul is difficult to get hold of once he has your money!

I have bought 2 spa covers here. The first one was OK and lasted about 5 years. The second one started getting water logged after 2 years. The plastic covering the insulation material was severely disintegrated. It also turned out there was only 1 encapsulation layer. I had ordered and paid for double encapsulation. When asking the company about this they said this problem was on their sub supplier that by the way was out of business. When telling them they were the company I had bought from, and not their sub supplier, I thought the problem of selling something and charging extra for it, and then

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
They claim to be industry ‘experts' but are from it and their approach to customer service is, frankly, absolutely scandalous.
When I had an issue with the specification of the cover they supplied, they not only blamed me and denied any responsibility whatsoever for the problem, but subsequently also refused to respond to my emails.
They also told me that it was my fault because I hadnt called them to discuss details before placing the order, when I categorically had called them and had a discussion about the exact detail that I was unhappy about.
And having committed

Purchased a cover 10 months ago and unfortunately the seams started to break and the cover became unfit for purpose.
One telephone call to Coversfortubs and one email with attachments to show the problem and the very next day we had a replacement cover! Excellent super speedy service and fantastic customer care.
Thank you coversfortubs you certainly know how to look after your customers, I will be recommending you whenever I get the opportunity, products do break down sometimes and it is the measure of good customer service when the retailer puts it right so swiftly with no financial gain.

I received my cover at 12 weeks and it is good quality. My only issue was with Paul Harrison their so called Customer services director. He was rude and abrupt on each occasion that I enquired about delivery times. The final straw was when he couldn't help himself and had to make a personal comment after my last email to the company. Absolutely NO IDEA how to treat his customers and I would not recommend CFT on that basis alone. He needs to understand what customer service means and learn some empathy. Rudest man I have had the misfortune to deal with!

I am not a person who normally writes reviews, however on this occasion I really feel it is necessary. The shocking customer service from Covers for Tubs is something I've never experienced before. Before ordering our cover, we called and spoke to Paul Harrison on the phone. He told us 8 weeks delivery time "because of coronavirus". We accepted this and ordered via the website. 8 weeks passed and we had no communication from the company about delivery. I called and spoke to the same person - Paul Harrison. Placed my order in 2020, I was told that due to lock down it might take up to 3 months, but went ahead with my order for my old Catalina Spa-with raised speakers in each corner- not a standard cover.
