Star Surfacing Limited is a family run business based in Hastings East Sussex. We cater for both private and commercial customers offering both Resin Bound stone and Resin Bonded stone along with all the ground works needed to construct a driveway, patio or car park. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and are always looking to improve our service and products.
We offer an excellent range of hard wearing durable surfaces, both permeable and non permeable. We can also take care of any ground works that may need completing before surfacing can take place. We work both in the commercial and private sectors surfacing small drives and footpaths to large commercial contracts.
For our Resin Bound Stone surfaces we only use UV stable polyurethane resin to bind together the stone and provide a flat surface with a natural stone finish. The stone and resin are mixed together on site using a special type of forced action mixer. Once the mix is ready it is delivered to the area to be laid using a wheel barrow or similar.
We use a UV stable polyurethane resin with a 6-10mm aggregate supplied by Derbyshire Aggregates to install attractive highly permeable Tree Pits without the problems of vandalism and litter. We are also the main contractor who fill "Green Blue Urbans" tree pit trays. These are picked up at their warehouse and filled in our workshop using a variety of different coloured stone.
We are an East Sussex County Council approved contractor and have the qualifications to lower kerb stones and create vehicle crossovers. We have 10,000,000 public liability insurance and can work on the highways. As well as doing all our own groundwork's and tarmacing for the resin bound drives we install we also carry out other works for other companies.
