With over 45 years experience across all aspects of the construction industry, current owner Graham, works with a team of skilled tradesman to provide work to the high standards set by the company since it was established in 1959.
We can provide you with a complete fully decorated finish, or to any level of finish that you require. We can also assist you with the planning and regulatory requirements needed, from the outset to get your project underway, through to the final completed project. We will work closely with you, the client, to achieve the desired finish you deserve.

Good company Graham is very good. The lads done a through lounge and flooring for plus Plastering the walls the quality of work very perfection And professional from start to Finish have these boys back again would give them five star thanks very Clean and tidy too. Sorry plus and They repaired my shower that was dripping for months thanks will top lads

I have now used Maxwells on numerous occasions, both for improvements and emergencies. They respond promptly and professionally whatever the situation. I could not fault them on anything. My daughter lost ridge tiles in recent storms and Graham resolved the problem same day at a competitive price. I recommend without reservation

We have just used Maxwell and Son for extensive work for exterior and interior work for many various work tasks over the past weeks and they have been excellent with all work completed beautifully and top class and all within good price . Also we were so pleased with the communication with Graham, his wife and work teams at all times with no delays, prompt work timing etc and advice from them. Graham & his team built an extension to our bungalow in 2000. We were (& still are) very pleased with the quality of work involved.
Since then, we have been very impressed with the way he has come to our aid with any job (large or small) we have asked him to undertake.
From constructing most attractive raised beds & re-building a collapsed pergola (without harming the climbing plants) in the garden, to plumbing jobs & solving any number of electrical problems in & around the house.
He & his team are efficient, helpful & above all - considerate & hard working.
