From starting out as a craftsman joiner in 1985, Richard Hartley's fitted furniture business has flourished to become one of Craven's most reputable businesses, operating throughout the whole of Yorkshire. Based in the market town of Skipton, North Yorkshire, our manufacturing unit and showroom rivals national names for outstanding quality and service.
We offer a substantial range of finishes and designs, but more importantly, an ingredient lacking from the big names in the fitted furniture world; the personal touch. Our team are all experienced and dedicated to providing a superior level of service, so your whole experience from the first visit to the showroom through to the fitters completing the work in your home, is smooth, professional and, above all, friendly.

Just had our third bedroom completed by Hartleys. All I can is what an absolute pleasure it has been and the room looks completely transformed! John has done yet another amazing fitting job and Richard was extremely personable and helpful during the planning process. All the staff I have encountered have been pleasant and courteous and I would not hesitate to recommend Hartleys for a job very well done! Thank you!

I am very pleased with the recent fitting of cabinets, display units and the fold away bed which has really brought a neglected spare room back to life to and given it a purpose (as a study/occasional bedroom)
My experience at ‘Hartleys’ from first visit to completion of the work as been excellent. The visit to the showroom was helpful in giving me ideas about what could be done (thanks to Heather) The site visit by Richard really started to shape the project and after a return to the showroom to study the plans and choose colours and styles, the whole thing really came together.
