AVOID THIS BUSINESS. John gave written quote to carry out cleaning, weed killer and re-sanding of a shared driveway and to lift and relay some of the blocks. Cleaned the drive and then said couldn't do the lift and re-lay??
Didn't re-sand, or apply weedkiller and said not necessary?? Surely it is necessary to re-sand retain the integrity of the blocks. Needless to say definitely over-charged for the work completed and lesson learnt.
No receipt given - so how the hell does the supposed 5 year guarantee they offer work. AVOID, AVOID AVOID.

After my blind father had a bad fall in the garden we decided to get someone in for a quote. John came round gave us a quote and we said OK go ahead.
To cut a long story short 2 elderly disabled people can no longer use there garden. £1150 for a few hours work and the garden is worse than before. No invoice was given , no bank transfer only cash and just continuous lies since then. We asked for a refund a few months ago and keep being lied to. He has dissolved the previous company Paving and driveways and set this one up.
My family are devastated and very poorly due to this stress.

THIS MAN IS A THIEF. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! John asked for £4,000 upfront. He told us that we could trust him and ensured us he needed the money to pay the builder’s merchant. His team took up our driveway. John told us the stones would be delivered in a month. Several weeks later and we are still without a drive. John keeps coming up with excuses for not starting the work. We have asked him to give us our money back but here again, he continues to lie and, to this day, holds us to ransom and has not refunded a penny. The cheque he wrote us has bounced. John and his team were absolutely brilliant. John was polite, punctual and very well priced. He came out on the Monday night and gave me a couple of different options, no pressure at all from him. We chose what we wanted and his team arrived the next morning. They too were great, chatting with my 6 year old who watched with fascination as they removed the old drive and laid the new over the next two days. Very tidy, very high standard. The block delivery came when John said, the workman arrived when they said they would. No money up front, none paid until I was 100% happy. Brilliant job, incredibly

We have used John twice now to have both our driveway and patio paved. John and his team have always been very helpful. Both quotes we received were the prices we paid.
With the patio we couldn't decide on the choice of colours and we asked John to take the decision off our hands and he advised that he had the perfect idea for our patio. Having now seen the completed work we are very impressed and extremely happy that John understood our vision. John and his team were efficient and completed the work in 3 days for both jobs and to an extremely high standard.
