I have had a range of jobs over my working life and picked up many valuable skills in and outside of these jobs. So I know my way around such things as Electrics, TV/Audio visual, Computers, Mobile phones, Working at height, H&S, Power tools. I have also been a keen D.I.Y er over the years and do as much of my home repairs and improvements as I can.
PLEASE NOTE: I do NOT provide a SUPPLY & fit service for security products. I DO offer a FITTING and SETUP service. The reason for this is because it will only cause issues if there are any warranty or service claims. It is taken direct from the manufactures own site. I have provided a number of links to their site for you to learn even more about the products they provide and also where you can purchase direct from them.
Many people are aware of the need of gutters in their respective homes but most don't take the necessary measures to maintain and keep the gutter in working condition. Homeowners need to cultivate the habit of clearing their gutters frequently and not waiting until something goes wrong. To avoid disaster in your homes, you need to be more proactive in maintaining the sanity of your gutter.
As you will see throughout this site I will tell you what I can do, what I cannot do or more accurately what I choose not to do as a HandyMan. There are a LOT of misconceptions about electrical work. Like who can legally do what and do I have to employ an Electrician. Trust me when I say even electricians argue this point!
This is a job/service I have recently introduced due to the high number of people requesting it. Now to keep things simple for both you as the customer and myself for fitting and costing there are some specific conditions. I only fit an RCD double socket. This RCD basically (without getting technical) means that it has very specific safety features built in.

Excellent communication with reminders sent by email and text and called to ask if could come round earlier than scheduled. Very quick and professional, cleaned up after himself. He advised of previous issue and confirmed he'd be available for any follow up in the unlikely event this was needed. When asked what other jobs he may be able to do for us was refreshingly honest telling us what jobs he doesnt undertake and why, which I much prefer having fallen foul of contractors taking on jobs they were not equipped to do in the past. After having the issue ‘fixed’ twice before I was quite dubious as to whether the issue would be resolved. John arrived not long after I’d made the booking and in fact early on the day of the repairs. He explained everything he needed to do really clearly and did such a thorough job even though it was a pain to do. All fixed now and really reasonably priced for the time he spent on it. I was so impressed and can’t recommend him highly enough. Thank you so much!

Tameside Handyman cleared a blocked drain for me and replaced my outside tap. He was very efficient and managed to unblock a drain that hadn’t been used for years. He arrived before he was due but kept me updated via text messages. His prices were a lot less than I expected. Overall I was impressed with his work and his charges. I will definitely be using him again.
