Services
The 8 floor sander is it ideally suited to household & small commercial floor projects. It has plenty of power to tackle the job and uses 8 wide continuous Sanding Belts which are very quick and easy to change (approx 10 seconds). It has excellent dust extraction, around 92% Dustfree and finger-tip controls for easy operation and total control.
This type of Edgier Sander, commonly used in the Hire Industry. It has an open front which exposes the very fast spinning abrasive disc; if you are not careful it can cut through radiator pipes and cables in seconds. The grab handles come in a fixed position only; it is also quite heavy, 16.4kg, nearly double the weight of our Bona Mini Edger Sander.
Hire Companies claim that their Sanding Machines are DUST FREE, in reality they are not. No belt Sanding Machine currently in the market place today is totally Dust Free, but when connected to the Dust Care System our equipment gets as near to this statement as possible. The Dust Care Single system is the very latest specialist Machine available to the professional floor sanding technician.

Our whole experience with Floor Sander Rental was excellent. The staff were so friendly and helpful. When the sanding machines were delivered, Ashley explained very clearly and thoroughly how to use them. The quality of the equipment and lacquer was superb and we are delighted with the results. It was a very efficient and professional service and extremely good value. All round, it was such a positive renovation project!

We are very happy with the finish on our 90+ year old boards and can highly recommend both the staff and the machines at Floor Sander Rental. Just have a look at the before and after photos. The machines are excellent and almost dust free. From what friends had told us about their sanding experiences, we were resigned to a big clean up but this was not necessary. Staff were prompt, friendly and very helpful. Instructions on using the machines were clear and tips on sanding were very useful. The afterhours technician was responsive and also helpful.

I borrowed a belt sander and an edger to do our floor which had been buried under an old carpet. The team at floor sander rental were really helpful from start to finish. When I picked up the machines they gave me a demo, which was super useful. The machines themselves were brilliant - I was a bit nervous because I haven't done anything like this before but the belt sander especially was really easy to use and produced hardly any dust. When we took the machines back they had a good chat with us about how to care for our floor. When we do our living room we will hire from them again.

Highly recommend anyone thinking of sanding own floorboards to pop down and chat to the lovely people at FSR. We were first-timers and felt very well advised at every stage. Brilliant service, with a live demonstration of machines to put you at ease and every small detail thought of down to extra sanding pads, dust masks and ear protection. Top!

Hired a combination of sanders to give a new lease of life to our Victorian pine floorboards in the bedroom and office. Couldn't be happier with the result. The team was super friendly and helpful and had all the right products available easily. We were really impressed at how dust free the machines actually here and will definitely use them again to do the other rooms in the house!

Amazingly helpful and friendly. We needed to sand the floors in our new house, which had a few peculiarities (old boards that needed repairing/replacing, different types of existing boards etc.). The guys in the shop were unbelievably accommodating and were full of useful advice on how to get the best results. This was the first time I'd attempted to sand floors, so to get their input was really valuable. The machines we rented were all great quality and did a fantastic job, even on the most challenging boards.

I'm a complete novice at sanding floors so after some discussion & advice over the phone about my floor I rented 3 of their machines. They were delivered by Mike who helped me get them into the house, he then gave me a really good walk through of all the machines, tips on how to use them on my specific floor & advice for some problem areas.
