Went to Simpsons yesterday afternoon to have a look at their Christmas gift stock. Some really nice things here, even if you go in just for a look your bound to find something nice for gifting. We did. The reason reason four stars, we went to the restaurant for a coffee and cake can't fault the quality of these but I felt the restaurant itself was quite dirty. It just seemed really grubby. I pulled my chair in and got sticky from under the seat (yuk), thank goodness I've always had hand gel in my bag. Hope they bring standard's back upto 5 star.

Went for breakfast in restaurant. Very well managed and covid precautions in place. Food nice and hot with good produce.
Also purchased some plants.not knowing much about gardening we spoke to lady who works there. Was full of knowledge and helped me choose correct shrubs. Excellent attitude to her work. Unfortunately did not get her name but 10/10.

Simpsons is what I would define as an upmarket garden centre. Their food market is worth visiting. The quality is good but on the expensive side.
On the gardening side again I would say expensive in comparison to, say Dobbies but from my experience no better in quality.
The restaurant has improved considerably
. Coffee is good and lunches are well presented and table service is good.
