I bring to the design of my gardens a lifetime passion for gardening and plants, a love of architecture, and interior design.
The success of the garden design process depends on-going dialogue between designer, client and contractor, starting with establishing the requirements for the new garden. I consult extensively with my clients before creating the design and at all times throughout the design and construction of the new garden.
I work in a wide area around my home in Berkshire, including Surrey, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, and London. I have completed projects as far away as Swindon in Wiltshire, and St Albans in Hertfordshire. I am currently undertaking a project in Hastings, Sussex and looking at other projects in Cornwall, Essex and Devon.
This contemporary garden in Bracknell, Berkshire demonstrates what can be achieved in an ordinary suburban garden with imagination, creativity and careful planning. The main challenge was overcoming the privacy issues - the house is hemmed in by other properties and the garden is therefore overlooked on all sides.
This is a one-acre garden around a new-build timber-framed house in Denham Village, Buckinghamshire with several level changes. Half the garden was overgrown woodland which was to be kept as part of the final scheme, but improved so that it could be used. The clients love being outside and wanted to be able to enjoy the garden for as much of the year as possible.

Linsey re-designed our garden to be a wonderful space that blends seamlessly from our house to the outdoor space. We first met Linsey 12 years ago when she and a few others were invited to submit plans for our tiny, sloping back garden. Linsey got the contract because of her imagination, knowledge, and personality. Her plans still give us great joy. Linsey's Garden Design workshop at the Housebuilding and Renovating Centre in Swindon on 14th September was well worth attending. Linsey is an inspiring trainer and it was a relaxed and friendly day with lots of opportunities to ask questions. There was a lot of information but Linsey provided notes by email afterwards which I appreciated very much. The practical sessions with lots of discussion and feedback were particularly valuable.

Linsey did a wonderful job re-designing our garden. We had a sloping, slightly odd shaped garden and she came back with a wonderful design with a semi-circular patio and dropped semi-circular path which is now complete and looks fantastic. Was really worth the investment to get Linsey's help.

When we moved to our new house, with a beautifully landscaped garden designed by Linsey, I was totally daunted by the thought of looking after it. Linsey was happy to come and run through the design and planting plan. Having followed a few simple tips from a true expert, with an easy and helpful style, meeting me at my level, it is now coming to life, in the spring, and giving us a wonderful outlook to our striking garden.

We have been working with Linsey Evans on our new build since late 2017. Her expertise and managed approach to our project whilst giving appropriate attention throughout to our initial brief has delivered a great result.
She was responsible for the design,consultation on construction and plant selection. Linsey was literally involved from start to finish;on 'planting day' she was on site setting out the plants according to plan - some of which she had picked up en route in a van hired specifically for our garden!

Linsey can transform any hopeless outdoor space into an absolute gem that you will enjoy and be very proud of.
We had a very unusual and specific brief and Linsey has absolutely delivered. Her drawings, plans and technical spec were spot on considering that most of the garden was so overgrown when she arrived on site to survey. She has also helped us to find the right landscape contractor who were a joy to work with. We are absolutely delighted with the result.

Linsey invited me to tender on building a garden she had designed in St Albans. Her garden design was fabulous, adventurous, challenging and absolutely perfect for the garden and her clients. Our initial meetings, the garden design and supporting document were very professional, clear and easy to understand. It also become very clear that Linsey understood what was required for constructing the design. I was very excited to win the tender and have the opportunity to build Linsey's vision for the garden. Linsey designed and project managed a garden for us at a rental property. the aim was to deliver some kerb appeal, whilst delivering a garden of low maintenance and high value.
Being overseas we were entirely reliant on Linsey to manage the project and she delivered a fantastic contemporary courtyard garden which we and our tenants are very happy with. I would happily recommend her.

Garden Builders have worked with Linsey Evans on a number of projects, these projects ranged in size and scope and complexity.
Linsey was very accurate with her drawings/dimensions, accurate on estimate costs and timescales to clients and was a delight on site, even when things needed changing, answers to questions were forthcoming and there was no dithering.
We would enjoy working more with Linsey Evans Garden Design, so please re-locate!!!
