Ashland Turf supplies is a Bristol based company that supplies turf to Bristol, Bath and their surrounding areas. Ashland Turf grows and cultivates three grades of turf, the turf is weed treated and from just 2.50 inc VAT per square yard. We grow our own seed sown turf in the beautiful Chew valley area which is close to Bristol and Bath.
We offer a delivery service on a daily basis around Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas. Our turf is cut fresh the day it is delivered ensuring it is fresh on arrival. We provide a professional lawn laying service, from removing old lawns to rotovating and levelling the ground using additional soil where required.

Services
When your lawn is first layed you should stay off the lawn for up to three weeks and water daily unless heavy down pours of rain occur. It's best to water for atleast 30 minutes to an hour everyday, use a bar sprinkler to water your lawn, if your water pressure is low then you may need to position your sprinkler at different areas of your lawn in order to ensure the whole lawn gets an adequate amount of water.

Found this business to be great from start to finish. You do need to send pictures in to receive quote but in current restrictions that is normal ?. Guys arrived and removed old lawn, rotavated and levelled soil. Returned a couple of days later to lay turf once soil had settled.looks great, thank you so much, very happy.

Decent company, contrary to other reviews I found them super pleasant and easy going to deal with, just slightly old school payment setup, and a little vague on when they'd be able to deliver but mostly due to the weather. Super happy with the turf, really lush, thick, healthy. And the chaps who dropped it off were super knowledgeable too! Thanks Ashland :)

Please don't ignore the bad reviews here. This company are hard to deal with. The lady who runs the phone line can be lovely, but she can also be rude, arrogant, disorganised and angry; and resolving an issue with her when she is being the latter is extremely difficult and stressful. The company could also use an online payment portal and some professionalism in sending confirmation emails/payment receipts to bring it into the 21st century! In terms of the turf itself, I'm no expert but doesn't look great quality to me, it's a bit patchy and has a browny/yellow tinge in places, it doesn't look

Do not use! The lady who is on the phones is shockingly rude. I asked her not to shout and be rude and she told me she was now cancelling my job when I questioned her phone etiquette. They do not even quote jobs instead use photos to go by- I mean who does that?! The Company are incompetent. They Even Had my address Down as wrong city! When I Asked for a breakdown of costs she literally made it up. I feel sorry for you if you have to use this place. Take my advice and go elsewhere.

Pretty disappointed with the quality of turf that arrived. Ordered the family turf and there was a real variation in the quality of turf that was delivered. Some rolls looked great with good quality grass and an even thickness of the roll, but about 30% of the rolls were very dry, with little soil attached and with the grass in a very poor condition. I can only imagine these rolls had been cut and rolled some days before.

Had my turf delivered today two days after ordering , 100 yards on the hottest day of the year. I had no problems at all, i was having trouble finding positive reviews on all the turf suppliers in Bristol and have come to the conclusion people generally leave a review if they have had a bad experience so i thought i would try and re balance the scales. I only had a delivery so i cant comment on installation, but on the hole a stress free experience .
