Hi, my name is Matt Baxter and welcome to MB Plastering website. I am a fully qualified plasterer with over 25 years experience, I spent many years learning every aspect of the trade before starting up on my own as MB Plastering and have currently been a sole trader for 16 years. I cover all areas of plastering from new builds, extensions, renovations, loft conversions and refurbishments.
Wether its plastering, dry lining, interior/exterior rendering, screeding or painting and decorating, I pride myself on leaving a first class job at affordable prices as customer satisfaction has always been my main priority. Services
After an alternative to sand and cement? Clean and tidy, dry lining gives you a sound well insulated surface which is ready to plaster to. All fitted in accordance with the relevant building regulations. Dot and Dab as its otherwise known can be done on any surface providing the proper preparation work has been carried out.
New ceilings and studwork plasterboarded quickly and neatly ready for plastering, old ceilings overboarded with no mess. We take on a range of plaster boarding jobs from kitchen/bathroom ceilings where there may have been water damage or new spot lights put in and they now require the old ceiling pulled down and new plasterboard put up.
Rendering is a cost effective way to to update or enhance the look of your property. Exterior render also gives a great insulation value and assists with damp problems. Allow a six month drying period before painting to a colour of your choice. We also now use the "Monocouche" system, applied by machine and available in different colours and styles for a clean, long lasting finish.
