As importers and Exporters we are world suppliers and purchasers of timber in Sawn and Round form, of both hardwood and softwood. During the winter months we specialise in the supply and export of Sycamore, to both Europe and further afield.

The Family Run business was established in 1970 by John Hall, who was later joined by his two sons John and Mark, who became partners in the business in 2000. With our broad knowledge and over 17 years experience of importing and exporting timber, we now have an extensive portfolio of world-wide buyers and sellers of hardwood and softwood.
We are buyers and suppliers of Softwood and Hardwood and are constantly looking for all species to supply to both the UK and World Wide markets. We will buy and sell both standing and felled timber from anywhere in the UK and collect using our own transport. We are Timber Merchants that are involved in Import and Export of Round and Sawn Timber from all over the world and we are constantly looking for supplies of Green Oak from Europe.
Shropshire Forestry Contractors are specialists in Wood Harvesting and Forestry Management and can fell and extract timber with minimal damage from woodland areas. Using the most up to date machinery we can extract and move all timber weather small softwood or large hardwood, both quickly and efficiently, with careful consideration for the site and its conditions as in the majority of cases replanting follows.
Shropshire Forestry Contractors are buyers and suppliers of solid oak beams to UK and World Wide Markets. As Timber Merchants involved in Import and Export of both Round and Sawn Timber from all over the world, we carry a stock of high quality oak beams in various thickness and lengths. By carrying a limited stock of Solid Oak Beams, we can offer our customers a 10 - 14 day turnaround on specific orders throughout the UK.
