Hayes and Partners is a long-established architectural practice based in Macclesfield, Cheshire, founded in 1937; we are an RIBA Chartered Practice. We comply with strict criteria covering indemnity insurance, health and safety and quality management. Choosing an accredited architect gives our clients peace of mind.
We are a thriving architectural practice working in the private sector in the North West. We serve private individuals and client/developers; people wanting to maximise the potential of their properties, others wanting to improve or extend their homes and farmers wanting to convert agricultural buildings.
Our clients' budgets currently range from 100,000 to 2.5m; this year our work included replacement dwellings, conversions, affordable housing and house extensions. Our area of influence spans the Green Belt, open countryside and the Peak District. Our design approach sets us apart; we always respond to a client's requirements and the site context, views and orientation to create the best results.

Services
Hayes & Partners are lucky to have a very efficient and effective staff, where each member brings different talents and expertise to the practice. The practice is structured into three teams - feasibility & design, delivery and administration. The overall development of each project is overseen by a Director, who maintains a hands-on involvement through all stages.
Many clients initially come to us for advice pre-purchase. Often they are considering buying land to build upon, or property to extend and renovate, but are unsure of the considerations or risks involved with such a project. Hayes & Partners have great experience of working with difficult sites and an excellent track record for achieving planning permission where other architectural practices might have failed.
Once Hayes & Partners have produced survey drawings, we use these as a basis for our design proposals and present sketch options to you. Once you have confirmed a preferred route, we will develop proposals which we will review with you, at which stage it may be necessary to incorporate minor amendments to reflect your requirements.
Once you are happy with your developed design, Hayes & Partners will review the plans, elevations and details with the local planning department and/or conservation officer if we consider this appropriate and, subject to their comments; we will complete the scheme drawings and apply for a Certificate of Lawful Development, or Planning Permission and /or Listed Building Consent.

'Hayes and Partners have taken our dream home and through a series of productive discussions and site visits have designed a beautiful design which is in keeping with our Edwardian home yet still stylish with a hint of the contemporary. There were no issues with the planning office, we gave the job to Hayes and Partners and they saw it through to the conclusion...planning permission granted! Thank you.'
