Phoned quick drain clear at 4pm and they told me exactly what the prices would be for depending on which machines would be needed. Had a great guy out by 6pm who managed to completely clear the blockage and even showed me with a camera that it was all unblocked.

Couldn't believe that it took less than 10 minutes to unblock the toilet and the shower which I could have done myself at the age of 70 if I had had the right equipment. £144 is a lot of money to pay. Hopefully, there will be enough desperate pensioners like me who use the company for the first time and only time to ensure they keep on trading. Conversely, the chap who came was nice and they did respond quickly though that may be because people have realised how expensive they are and so look elsewhere.

Very expensive. Even though I was quoted with prices between 50-220, apparently the £50 never applies! The staff came and inserted a long plunger at the top of the shaft which unblocked the drain after moving up/down for 10 seconds. It lirealy took 10 secons and then got charged £180!
I have to admit thought that their response time was excellent and they came within a couple of hours , however I wouldn't recommend as they are too expensive.

Had a problem with my drains. They came out quickly but were ouable to fix the problem. Said they thought the problem was one for Scottish Water. Charged me £150 and said they would contact Scottish Water. I didnt hear from Scotish Water so I contacted them myself. Turns out that Quick Drain Clear had not contacted them as promised. My advice to anyone who has a drain problem is to contact Scottish Water First and not trust Quick Drain Clear.

Our property had a number of gutters/downpipes blocked by autumnal leaves. Despite being initially quoted an exorbitant figure, we negotiated a price with QuickDrainClear to clear all the drains. Their worker, Willie Hamilton, also confirmed a 90 day warranty for the work. Out of professional respect, we did not stand over him whilst clearing the drains, which it transpired he did not complete. When we phoned later to claim under the ‘warranty’, and after leaving several messages, we were told - by the very same worker - we should have checked at the time whether he had completed clearance
