Welcome to Deacon Contractors, a plastering, carpentry and building firm based in Hove and covering the entire Sussex area. Established in 2002, we have predominantly specialised in plastering both domestic and commercial properties, building up a strong reputation that has allowed the business to grow and expand in to other trades.

Established by Andrew Deacon in 2002 as a plastering firm, Deacon Contractors have earned an excellent reputation for providing a high quality and reliable service. With more than 13 years experience working in both domestic and industrial markets across the entire Sussex area, Deacon Contractors is a family business that has expanded in size and stature - building up a very strong portfolio of work - which you can see in our gallery.
We couldn't call ourselves specialists in plastering if we didn't know our way around plasterboard installation, as so many development jobs today use the simple and effective materials. The durability, speed of installation and cost-efficient benefits make plasterboard an obvious choice for so many plastering jobs - and here at Deacon Contractors, we're highly experienced in all aspects of its installation.

Excellent standard of work for exterior monocouche rendering and great finish. Good advice from Andy as well and finishing touches like replacing cast iron waste pipe and fittings with stainless steel fixings. Would recommend the company and competitive quote out of 3 quotes that I got.

We were coming up to the end of our tenancy and there were some repairs we needed especially to where the dog had damaged the wall. Andy and the team did a sterling job. We were really happy and they helped us out considering we needed to be out of the property fairly quickly! Felt like I should put a review up because I like supporting decent local businesses.

Recently had work carried out by Deacon contractors. Andy and his team were very professional and responsive throughout the whole time they were here and did an absolute amazing job. I was super impressed at how tidy my house was kept throughout and didn’t feel like I was living in a building site for the week they were here. Thank you again, I’ll definitely be recommending you to any friends or family :)
