QLawns in the Midlands is a Stratford-Upon-Avon based company lead by its founder David Fisher, who has been involved in the turf industry for over 30 years. This has contributed to our position as being a well respected supplier of turf to the domestic lawn marketplace in the Midlands. With an office in Bidford on Avon and the distribution hub in Stratford we are well placed to offer an effective service to the area.
At Qlawns in the Midlands, we aim to offer a full service to our clients which includes not only the supply of high quality turf, but also a full lawn installation service where needed. We need your order by 10.00 am on Monday for Wednesday, or by 10.00 on Wednesday for Friday. Collection orders are put on individual pallets ready for you to pick up from 8.30 am on Wednesday or Friday.
Yes, the only time when it is not possible is when the ground is frozen. We do not harvest when there is frost in the ground and do not advise laying turf when the temperature is below 2 degrees. Be careful when comparing products and be sure to get a comparative price, which is for a m2. Some growers still supply turf by the yd2, which is 20% smaller than a m2.
Whilst it should be easy to order your turf or landscape materials with this site, we appreciate that some may prefer to order in a more traditional manner via telephone. Beware! the sale went very smoothly and all seemed well, however, we have patches of light green tufty grass throughout. I sent photos by email to David who said "that is called meadow grass and NOT GOOD, I will need to contact the supplier and i will get back to you " I chased him after 3 days and was told the supplier was away for a few days and that he hadn't forgotten me.....
However, he has not got back to me and I have emailed and left voicemails.. . very poor!!!
