Take a twisty path through the trees and just over the ridge, in your own little woodland copse, is your little bit of bliss. With large bi-fold doors, wrap around deck, wood fired tub for two, covered outdoor dining area and outdoor log burner with settle down chairs. Bring your own bedding (we provide a fresh undersheet) & towels or choose our optional extra of bed linen & towel hire.
Enjoy the beautiful Galloway Hills in the south west of Scotland, on our 80 acres of mini wilderness of woodland and meadows. Our quirky heated cabins and pods range from comfortable but budget orientated Wigwams, to more well appointed Pods which have private wood fired hot tubs. Some call it glamping, we just think its a cool way to get up close and personal to nature and the great outdoors.
Ideal for couples or families each of the two Glamping Barns are booked for your own exclusive use, including their own private wood fired hot tubs. Inside they both have a well-equipped kitchenette with an oven, hob, kettle, toaster and microwave. The comfortable lounge area has sofas, chairs, Free-sat TV and a wood burning stove.
We offer gift vouchers for various glamping accommodation, including our Posh Pods with wood-fired hot tubs. We also have a range of activity based vouchers for Learn to Fish, Mountain Biking and Segway experiences. Here at Gorsebank, you'll find everything you and your horse need for a great equestrian break. We have access to miles of off-road forest trails along with great facilities on our relaxed and friendly yard. For your horse, we offer grass livery, DIY stabling or, you can have a holiday too and let us take the strain by putting your horse on full livery during your stay.

I have stayed at Gorsebank several times over the last 5-7 years and have made some great memories.
Unfortunately it seems to be on the decline. Money has obviously been spent on site but not on the existing pods.The Birch jumbo pod smelt of wet dog on walking in, I pulled back the seat/bed cover to discover it was very mouldy and smelt horrendous!
The Willow posh pod which was rented was advertised to come with a bbq grill, this was not the case. Instead there is a dual hob fitted with a griddle and hot plate, apparently this has been changed from a regular gas bbq to this pointless piece of

We had a lovely relaxing weekend in one of Gorsebank's wigwams. Accommodation, toilet and shower were all spotless, our hired mountain bikes great quality, and our host wonderfully friendly and helpful. The direct access to the 7 Stanes mountain bike trails was a fantastic feature too! Thank you and well done!

We did rent to Hardtail Mountain bikes for adults here. Everything worked fine with the Information provided online and the reservation via email. upon collection everything was ready. A very friendly member of staff explained us where to ride and supplied us with spare tires and the pump. While riding we realize that the bikes were not in the best. Tires worn down. Rear Wheel wobbly. gears not very accurate. fork stiff. the breaks worked perfectly so it was no security issue. just the comfort could have been bigger :) when mentioning this issues upon drop off we were told that it is difficult

Check the bike carefully if hiring. I hired two bikes and they both had serious problems. On the first, the grips kept moving on the bars, the bars weren't straight and the tyres had next to no tread. On the second, from the beginning the gears didn't shift at all so we had to stop and fix them. I brought this up with the manager and he explained that it was really my fault for not checking thoroughly when I first got them, and that badly worn tyres are in fact fine. Premium prices for less than premium bikes.

A wonderful stay. Individual toilets and showers made us feel very safe and comfortable. Comfortable pods and all our needs met. A special time had catching up with our friends. This is a wonderful place to stay. Just wish we'd booked for longer, will be back next year. Thank you so much for an excellent stay.

Me and my boyfriend stayed in a ridge pod and it was such a lovely experience! We had a wasp infestation after lighting the fire pit and after getting in touch to let them know, within minutes someone was at our pod tending to it! The warm weather made it even better, it’s a shame we only went for 1 night. It was a fantastic location and I would definitely return for another glamping trip!
