We offer a full landscape service through our Landscape Division (G&A Landscapes) and can offer a complete preparation and laying service for the domestic and commercial client.
For the bigger jobs, we are able to supply and lay large rolls of 20 metres. All turf is grown on light loam soils and is maintained and regularly inspected to ensure that it is completely weed free, fertiliser is applied during the growing season to ensure healthy growth. All turf is irrigated during dry periods (daily during the summer).

Services
All Purpose Organic compost is a rich, dark 100% peat-free general-purpose growing medium containing balanced fertilizers suitable for a wide range of uses including potting on, container growing, tree and shrub planting and seed sowing as well as improving drainage and putting some goodness back into a poor soil.
You new turf will grow best when your soil is prepared in such a way as to ensure deep rapid rooting. Poor soil and poor soil preparation will cause your turf to decline. Mixing in pre turf fertiliser and watering the soil prior to laying the turf will ensure successful establishment. The incorporation of Country Gardens blended soils will improve poor soils and is excellent for levelling uneven surfaces.
Country Gardens' topsoil is a 6mm screened fertile, high quality, safe and certified, sustainable soil high in organic matter which conforms to BS 3882. Soil is available all year round and is stored inside once it has been through state of the art screening stations to enable you to receive dry topsoil during wet periods.

Poor quality, turf cut at different thicknesses and lengths. Weeds and clover present. When asking for a refund became extremely abusive on the telephone after I had provided photo evidence to justify my claim for a refund. I am still trying to get a refund from this company. I have also posted a photo of the response I recieved.

Had a lawn laid by steve and his team the quality of the grass was brilliant all the work was carried out to the specification that we was given and despite the terrible weather at the time his lads worked extremely hard and even tidied up afterwards and washed our slabs down every night when they finished,3 weeks on the lawn looks fantastic cannot recommend highly enough.

Sadly, despite taking references, the work done by Steve Barton in the autumn is unsatisfactory and I cannot get him to do anything about it. I was concerned about the quality of the turfs at the time and told… him, but he said he would return in the spring if I was still unhappy. Despite phone calls, texts and e mails he hasn't come and is now saying the present quality is not his fault. I paid over £3000 for this work and am a very unhappy customer. I notice that the 5* reviews are by himself and Gary Barton. A shame as he stressed the family side of the business etc before I employed
