Planning And Building Regulations Report

In most instances building a log cabin/garden room in your garden falls withing the remit of Permitted Development as long as its purpose is incidental to the enjoyment of the dwellinghouse. For peace of mind it is possible to easily obtain written confirmation whether planning permission is/isn't required by submitting a 'Do I need planning?' form through your local Council Planning Portal.

Building Regs Report

If you want to put up small detached buildings such as a garden shed or summerhouse in your garden, building regulations will not normally apply if the floor area of the building is less than 15 square metres and contains NO sleeping accommodation.

Timber Framed Report

Our timber framed garden buildings are not only stylish, stunning, and elegant, they are also extremely thermally efficient. Our bespoke Garden Rooms are timber framed, insulated in the walls, roof and floor. The ceiling and walls are plaster boarded, plastered, painted and decorated. The floors, commonly, are caber floored/laminated.

Garden Annexes Report

Not only do the GBC Micro Homes look stylish and stunning they conform to Residential Building Regulations specification. Our Micro homes are just that - a scaled down version of a modern timber framed house. Prices start from 50,000.

Mobile Homes Report

Perhaps surprisingly, given the name, a caravan/mobile home does not need to have wheels. It does though need to be constructed in two halves, be hypothetically transportable and comply to the requirements that govern mobile home use. Caravans are treated differently when it comes to planning legislation and building regulations.

Kevin and his team built us a fantastic home office. From my initial enquiry to completion, it was less than 4 weeks and the standard of work is amazing. The building has turned a forgotten corner of the garden into our new office. Completed ahead of schedule by Garden Buildings Cornwall and the standard of finish is amazing. Kevin, Vicky and their very professional team provided us with a stunning log cabin. It serves as an excellent office space and meeting room. It has a cosy feel, and takes very little heating. Many of our customers comment on it. We brought a cabin from these guys and its amazing, the company was very helpful, and installed it quickly and left the garden tidy, we finally have more space for the family to enjoy. will definitely recommend. Thanks Cedar Garden Rooms - we have very happy kids too!!
