If you intend to fit the track flush to the wall, outside of a window recess, just enter the exact length you'd like. We recommend measuring the gap that the track is going in and then taking 1 centimetre off the measurement. This will give you half a centimetre (5mm) each end to tuck the ends of your curtain behind.
The curtains are purely made from your chosen Silent Gliss fabric and will be slightly transparent to let quite a lot of light through and you'll be able to make out shapes through the fabric. Please note, while blackout-lined curtains will not let light through, light can still get around the edges of the curtains and between the top of the curtain and the track.
If going in a gap or recess, we recommend taking 2cm off the size of the gap to ensure a comfortable fit. The motor is included in this track length. You do not need to add or subtract any measurement to account for the motor. Just enter the length you want the track to be. If you choose to have one curtain on the track which opens to the left or the right, we will fit the motor to the same side so it is hidden behind.
This fabric is only available with a maximum area (width * drop) of metres 2. Your measurements give an area of m2. Please measure your blinds to the nearest centimetre (cm), ideally using a steel tape measure as they provide better accuracy over longer distances. In this case you'd usually choose the Top fix bracket option to fix to the top of the recess.

Provided the requested dimensions which included those necessary for fitting into the bay window. The track came back with perfect bend angles and fits the bay exactly. Installation was easy and only took me about 30 minutes.
We opted for the Autoglass 5100 TC so that we could programme the time of automatic closing and opening. Perfect for when we might be away from home and give the impression that the house is occupied.
The motor is silent and is hidden behind the curtain.

Kept updated on delivery. Arrived 1 day late but as soon as I queried it I had a response.
When installing the track I had a couple of pieces missing. Sophie was absolutely brilliant and got them out to me the following day. She also followed every thing up and it was a pleasure dealing with her. My customer was delighted. As soon as I have photos I will send them on. I will definitely use this company again. 👍👍👍👍

Perfectly straight-forward purchase of a couple of Silent Gliss Autoglide electric curtains. I measured the lengths I needed , placed the order, items arrived, I fitted them, set up the electrics, attached curtains. Voilà.

I have been using Silent Gliss automatic curtain rails for many years and had to replace a rail because it ceased to work through age (the track inside the rail had become damaged). I ordered the latest version which was easy to order and arrived very quickly. I opted to install the rail myself and completed it without difficulty with the help of the included instructions.
I have found that the rail is much quieter in operation than the old one - often we don't hear it closing. The new rail has a remote control which is convenient, but also has a manual control on the wall and a timer for automatic

Perfect! Buying and delivery was a dream, no problem at all. Electric curtain rail has changed my life, for some reason I never enjoyed pulling curtains to open and close them. Now, from the other side of the room I press a mobile remote and "hey presto" curtain open and close at my command...a real pleasure. Its the simple things in life which make me happy.
